Khloe Kardashian: Lamar Odom Is ‘Doing Great’ But ‘Every Day Is Different’

 lamar Odom, 36, is well on the road to recovery — Khloe Kardashian, 31, confirmed that news herself during an interview on Good Morning America Jan. 13. The former NBA star, who was recently released from the hospital for physical rehabilitation, has a long way to go, but is doing “really well” after the drug overdose that left him unconscious for several days in October, Khloe confirmed. Phew.

“He is doing really well. He’s finally out of the hospital, he’s doing great,” the reality star said onGMA. “But you know, it’s a long journey and it’s something he’s working really hard on. Every day is different, we take very day as it comes. I’ve learned to really not look into the future too much, I take every day as it comes. 2016 is a good year. My talk show is coming out, we’re leaving all the hospital stuff in 2015. This year is going to be good and positive.”

But even though things are still being taken on a day-by-day basis, the strides Lamar has made, period, are incredible compared to how things started out. “When we got to the hospital in Vegas, we were told, you know, ‘There’s only a few hours to live,'” Khloe explained. “We had to make some medical decisions. There was a lot of challenges, but he’s a fighter, and obviously, he’s here now and he’s out of the hospital. That’s a long stay — almost four months in the hospital. But it’s a long journey — it will be a long journey — but as long as he’s willing to fight it and constantly better himself, then that’s all I could ask for.”As we previously reported, the 31-year-old secretly moved her ex out of the hospital on Jan. 6, and we’ve heard that L.O is even living in Khloe’s house while he recovers in outpatient rehab! “When he left [the hospital], the first and only place he went was to Khloe’s house,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “The first place she wanted him to see when he was equipped to leave the hospital was her warm and comforting home, and that’s where he’s been ever since. Khloe thought it was the best decision she could have made.”
